These designs take as their theme wind, both the kind that occurs naturally in nature and the kind that originates in the power and actions of people.

色留袖「唐津くんち曳山行列」
国指定重要無形民俗文化財で文政2年（1819年）に制作され、今日まで受け継がれてきた曳山14基の一部と約130名の江戸 装束を2年6ヶ月かけ制作いたしました。

The "Hikiyama"Autumn Festival in Karatsu
("Iro-tomesode"-style kimono)
Sawai spent two and a half years creating this scene of about 130 festival attendees in Edo costume and some of the 14 Hikiyama floats. Designated as important intangible folk culture assets by the national government, these floats were built in 1819 and have been passed down to the present day. Received "Japan Branch Grand Prize" and other awards from Millet Association in France.
